La Capucine is by far the best and most hospitable stay (thanks to Benoit and Ghislane) I’ve had while touring Provence. Just a stone’s throw away from neighbouring tourist haunts like L’isle Sur La Sorgue and Fontaine de Vaucluse, it’s the perfect base to explore the less visited but magnificent medieval villages in the Luberon valley.

There’s also an excellent french restaurant in centre ville called Auberge de Lagnes which serves wonderfully and perfectly executed provençal cuisine, perhaps with a slight Asian twist,  in a cosy and warm setting. Waiting staff was attentive and sweet 🙂 The only complaint I had is probably the selection of wines at the restaurant but I guess I was already spoilt by all the good wines I’ve had while hopping from one good vineyard to another.

*Edited: I don’t think I ever mentioned how romantic this place can be, eh? 😆
