Hills of Soave

Hills in Soave

It was pretty misty and cloudy when I visited Soave, probably one of the most densely vine-populated towns in Europe. Almost all the slopes on the rolling hills and the plains were planted with rows and rows of Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave. I must say all the head trained vines were quite pretty. This picture was taken at the Coffele family’s vineyard at about 400m above sea-level.
