2008 Bandol La Migoua Domaine Tempier, Bandol, France.

Bandol La Migoua 2008, Domaine TempierDeep inky purple core with a magenta rim. Cured meat, blood sausage, dried herbs and mocha aromas; tart berry nose. Tart blackberries, tart dark cherries, white pepper, mandarin peel and even a little charcoal on the palate. Strong, muscular tannin structure; med+ to long finish; med+ acidity. Just as tight as Les Tourtine but quite promising (my favourite of the trio), hardly single dimensional. Needs plenty of time. Drunk too soon (again!).
