Domaine Anne Gros Bourgogne 2006

Clear light ruby-garnet core; early signs of a bricking rim. Perfumed; lifted aromas of dried cherries, cranberries and vanilla. Tart cherries, dried red fruits, dried mandarin peel on the palate. Delicate. Medium to medium+ acid; medium to medium- length. A slight bitter finish but otherwise ripe tannin structure. Drinking quite well! Not the cheapest Bourgogne around but sometimes it may be worth spending the extra penny. Far more approachable than this 🙂
