je ne regrette rien

When wines are so well-made, fresh, vibrant and balanced, no words could describe what they really taste like. For me, they are the epitome of what Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are capable of achieving and will, for a long time, be etched beautifully in my mind as I hop from vintage to vintage between the southern and northern hemisphere. Two Leroy on the table for lunch today – I was truly blessed.

  1. MT, great to follow your blog after our online Davis courses together! What vintage was your Leroy RSV? I just had her 1998, and it was stunning. Of course, your other wines don’t seem too bad, either ;). Keep jotting!! -R

  2. Hey Renee! How are you doing? Haven’t heard from you for awhile! The Leroy RSV was a 2001. It was amazing. Had her 1999 Les Beaumonts a few days ago and it was also quite stunning. All the wines were brought by a good friend of mine. Too much good stuff within a week after my vintage in NZ! Hahahaa. Do keep in touch!
