Meursault Perrieres 2004 Michelot
Bright golden-yellow core; baked lemons, flint, santan cream on the nose; tart lemons, some oak flavours, linear, phenolic after taste, medium acid; good length but kinda hollow in the mid-palate. Even on a flower day, the greenness of the vintage showed. Michelot’s 2005 version of the same Perrieres is seriously quite a different animal altogether. I guess open the last bottle of this 2004 on a root day? đŸ™‚
