Only Malaysians (or make that South East Asians) will have such (carbo-heavy) items as a late afternoon snack! Can’t compare this to the authentic Penang Assam Laksa I had last week but when it’s homemade, there’s just so much fish chunks in the broth and you can help yourself to the condiments at no extra charge! 😆
i picked the one that i am most familiar with, naturally – the wine had a lot more focus and energy, though both were pretty “dark” in nature, grippy, earthy, and a little murky. Didn’t manage to check the condition of the corks. Hopefully they will stay intact as long as they possibly could. Fingers crossed.
