my first dinner in Porto

Tripas menos do PortoI love tripe, and I’ve gotto try this Tripas Menos do Porto when I first got here. It was delicious (at least at this small restaurant where I had it) – piled with lots of lardons, chunks of fatty pork belly (with skin on), tripe, slices of blood sausage and lots of white beans. I wasn’t planning on having any carbs with it but I succumbed to the yummy serving of rice flavoured lightly with salted butter in the end. Damn.
