not quite the frango grelhado in Portugal but then this is a chain restaurant which claimed to serve flame-grilled portuguese chicken since they were founded in South Africa when I was just a kid. The portions used to be much larger but those days are long gone – the “quarter chicken” has been downsized to a miserable leg and there were fewer chips than McD’s french fries. Saddening. The only consolation is that the sauces are still free-flow (how can they not? it’s Malaysia if you know what I mean.) and to give them credit, they did do a bloody decent job in grilling the chicken to perfection.
